In 30 years, experts predict a high standard of living in the capital. Today, a strategy for Nur-Sultan's development until 2050 has already been developed. The deputies of the city representative body were the first to get acquainted with the document at the meeting of the permanent committee.

Speakers and panelists of the sessions will be leading Kazakh sociologists, political scientists and experts. Academic scientists from the country's regions are also invited to participate and present their own research.

Co-hosted by the GFCC, the Kazakhstan Competitiveness Council and the Center for Research and Consulting, GIS2019 brought together global leaders from industry, academia and government to discuss the transformative nature of new technologies and innovation and their impact on nations, energy, industries, cities and talent.

By 2050, due to the implementation of the strategy, the life expectancy in Nur Sultan will be 82 years, while the population of the city will reach 2.4 million people.
